BBC ROUND 2!!

WOW!! Where to start...?? Never in a million years did we ever think a simple little "thought" could turn into something SO AMAZING!! Shelli & myself (Magen) had talked a lot about doing a Boot Camp but, honestly didn't think too many people would be interested with their hectic schedules. After lots of researching and practicing we decided to give it a try! What did we have to lose? We didn't want to just call it "boot camp" that seemed to "original" so, we thought with the summer coming up what would people be wanting/wearing. First thing I could think of, especially after just having a baby this past June was, "would be nice to get in a Bikini" Shelli busted out with that's it BIKINI BOOT CAMP!! We were sold ourselves LOL. We had decided we would enroll 15 people cause at the time that was all the equipment we had and we didn't know if we would even have 15 interested. I posted our NEW IDEA on Facebook in the parking lot at FuSion as Shelli and I were leaving. Before Shelli could even pull out of the lot her phone had began ringing!! The ringing hasn't stopped since!! Our FIRST BBC SOLD OUT with in a few hours!! We had enrolled 15 and were happy but, the more that wanted in the more people we wanted to help. We bought more equipment and ended with 21 enrolled for ROUND 1!! We were beyond excited!!

Round 1 was GREAT!! We couldn't have asked for a better group of women!! They were so excited to be the ORIGINAL BBC CREW! We thank them everyday for giving us a chance and just rolling with it. First camp went smooth, we had some days that things could have been different but, we were all learning! By the end of Round 1 we had over 3 girls lose OVER 15 INCHES!! Results were amazing, yes I CRIED!! We had 6 girls from Round 1 decide to continue into Round 2, words don't describe how excited we were/are! Best part- we watched people become HAPPY & Make NEW FRIENDS!!

We didn't choose "Bikini" Boot Camp because we expect you to fit into that ITSY BITSY TEENIE WEENIE.... (you get it) Bikini afterward. We chose it cause it sounded FUN and motivating! Our goal has ALWAYS & WILL ALWAYS be for you to come to camp ready to make a change. We aren't promoting a overnight change, you didn't gain the weight overnight therefor you can't expect to lose it that way. We are wanting BBC to just be the beginning, the jump start, the NEW & HEALTHIER YOU!

Round 2 started this past Monday! Hard to believe I have seen over 70+ people between 5 & 7am these past two days. All I know is God is truly working magic! 70+ women that early ready to make a difference, it's POWERFUL!! I can already see future friendships just ready to bloom. Lots of inches & pounds are going to be lost in Round 2! With in the past two days alone we have already DONE WORK!! I personally have been more sore than ever these past two days, it hurts SO GOOD! LOL Round 2 is going to KICK BOOTY! Can't wait to see the final results!! Keep up the great work ladies, you are rocking it!!!

Round 3!!!! Yes that's right we are already signing up people for ROUND 3!! June 27-Aug 4 we will have TWO BBC CLASSES AGAIN!! 5-6am and a 6-7am!! It is crucial you get your spot while you can!! We are already over half way full for JUNE CAMP!!!! AGHHHH IT'S CONTAGIOUS!!! Please text or call Shelli at 575-390-8924!! Joyce Riedel- Zumba & Kiss My Abs

Hello!!!!  My name is Joyce Riedel. I am married to Jeff and have 3 kiddos, John, 21 Jordan, 20 and  Jakob,4. I started doing Zumba about 4 years ago and just fell in love with it. My wonderful hubby doesn't like to dance and I love it so Zumba just worked for me!!!! Not long after I decided to get certified to be an instructor. I looked around for places to apply but didn't realy get that feeling of... "this is the place for me". Then a friend told me about Fusion so I went to check it out. Love love love and more love!!!! OMG!!! Everybody was so nice and Shelli was so fun & bubblely!!!! Not that clique-ish feeling you have at some other places. So I applied ( might have even begged) for a job and Shelli said yes!!! I started teaching Zumba and then added a KISS MY ABS class!!!! I've been with Shelli and Fusion from the begining, and it has been a blast watching it grow!!! I  have met some awesome ladies and men at Fusion. It's fun to watch the back row move up to the front.... the nervous first timers bloom to the front row mover & shakers and those that keep the same spots but are shakin and movin' and havin' fun!!! Thanks for all the good times and the friendships and hope to have lots more!!! LOVE MY FUSION FAMILY!!!

Melissa Allen- PiYo

I recently got married to my amazing husband, Zachary. He was in the Navy for 5 years and we are both very passionate about fitness. I have been working out for the past three years. I immediately fell in love with Pilates and Yoga after the quick transformation I saw my body make. Pilates and Yoga really helped me to develop long, lean, and define muscles in opposed to "bulking up" My flexibility improved after just a few classes and I felt more energized than ever!! A friend introduced me to PiYo at FuSion Fitness, PiYo is a fusion of my two favorite classes; Pilates & Yoga! Fitness and Health are a priority to me and I have an overall confidence when I work out on a regular basis. I was really inspired by the positive vibe at FuSion and wanted to be a part of changing peoples lives!

Jackie Kafka- Zumba

Jackie was born and raised in New Mexico. She spent most of her life in Las Cruces, where she discovered a passion for dance; particularly ballet. After graduating in the top 10% of her high school class Jackie decided to stay in Las Cruces and attend New Mexico State. After a semester of college she realized she needed a change, she made the move to Texas Tech. Jackie is majoring in English and is set to graduate in 2012, with a goal of pursuing an MBA. With her busy schedule Jackie was finding a hard time sticking to a fitness regime and preferred one that involved dancing. That is when she discovered the AMAZING world of ZUMBA! Her love of dance inspired her to become and Instructor and so she began teaching Zumba in December of 2010. Jackie joined our FuSion Fitness team in March of 2011, where she teaches today!!

I'm fun, friendly, outgoing, crazy, and considered a daredevil! I've been married for 11 years and have two children. There's never a dull moment in my life! I'm a certified Zumba Instructor and plan on becoming a trainer in the future. My motto is "trust in God and he will take you a long way."

Meet one our Newbies to FuSion!

My name is Ashley Smith and I am a 25 year old mother of two sweet boys, Landyn 4 and Connor 2. I am engaged to be married to my best friend and love of my life, Matt. Originally from Odessa, TX, born and raised, we were relocated to Lubbock in 1999. I am a 2004 graduate of Monterey High School and studied Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technology at South Plains College. I am currently a full time records clerk at Glasheen, Valles & Inderman L.L.P. and am looking into furthering my education at Wayland Baptist University. I was introduced to Turbo kick in March of 2011 and it has been a passion of mine ever since. I love my family and friends, both of my jobs, and all the amazing new people that Fusion has brought into my life. It is truly amazing to know how one choice to try something new can alter your life and leave a lasting impression and this is exactly what Fusion has not only done for me but has done for so many others as well!! Fusion a blessing!
