Well, where do I start.... 10 years ago, at the age of 30 I had my last son. The last 10 years have been a struggle with some final weight loss. Last year around mid Spring my cousin; Tasha Fitzhugh Nisbet (shout out, Hi!! Tasha, I love you cousin for introducing me to Zumba and Shelli) said to me, "Vernessa you have to come try Zumba with me, you will LOVE it. I said okay, mind you I had no idea what I was in for! I went to Zumba at another studio in town and the owner, head instructor and employees were so nonchalant about new customers coming into there establishment. After the class I explained to my cousin that I WOULD never come back. Upset and disappointed again! Another try at exercising down the drain. I did find I liked Zumba though! A month went by and I received another phone call from Tasha, "Cousin you have to come try Zumba again!" I replied, "HECK NO! The employees were rude and obnoxious, I'm good!" I had decided I was just going to try all this "As Seen on Tv" workout videos, equipment, and pills. Tasha quickly let me know she was inviting me to a NEW studio in town! I was skeptical but, managed to walk through the door and did a Zumba class with Shelli, she was AMAZING!!!! AMAZING I say!!! I started Zumba and now could not stop! I followed Shelli and Tasha from 82nd to Slide location. My beginning weight was.....are you ready? I'm kinda embarrassed to say.... 174!! I now take Turbo Kick, Yoga, PiYo, and drum roll please..... BIKINI BOOTY CAMP!!!!!!!! ;-) Yes, I said "Booty" because a lot of what we do! "What your mama say shake" JK JK. I think we need to have E.A.M (Exercise Anonymous Meeting) "Hi! My name is Vernessa and I'm a exercising addict! Hi, Hi Vernessa LOL! I kill myself! Ha Ha Ha! Oh yeah I forgot Hip Hop too!! "Get out of your mind!" I'm proud to say I now weigh in at......151.6!!! Yeah baby!! Thank you Shelli, Magen, ,Joyce, Tasha Tiff, Stephanie and the rest of the FuSion family! I love you!!!!
